Our Next Project:
It’s one of those moments when we have exciting news, but can’t divulge it.
We can’t tell you the title of our upcoming project, because it’s an adaptation of a work of Korean SF and the author needs to approve the script.
We can’t tell you about the technique we’re planning to use, as it may be the first time anyone’s made a film the way we’re going to.
We can say that this upcoming project is exciting, and that it’s a wild homage of sorts to a one-of-a-kind, wonderfully inspiring dystopian French SF film. (The featured image for this post, visible above, is a hint as to which one: an easy hint for some, maybe puzzling for others?) But that’s all we can tell you for now. So stay tuned…
Upcoming Screenings:
In other news: there’s yet more information we can’t divulge, but a couple of screenings of “The Music of Jo Hyeja” are coming up in the next few months. One’s coming up in the States at the end of the year, and the reason we can’t announce it is simply because the list of films hasn’t been finalized yet.
The other screening we can’t talk about yet will be happening in Seoul in February. We’re organizing the Seoul screening, and hope to be able to screen both “The Music of Jo Hyeja” and our next project at the same time. But because of how the bookings system works for the venues we’re thinking of using, we won’t have a date for the February screening until sometime in January.
And finally, there’s one more screening in late spring, in Portland, at that city’s H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival. We don’t have an exact date, yet, though it’s supposed to be sometime in May. We’ll update everything when we can… in the meantime, following our Twitter feed or our page on Facebook will ensure you don’t miss the news we can announce!
